I've seen the duplicolor shop master paint, and thought about using it (I've got decent parts on my blazer ub I won't lie it's ugly as hell with all that old paint).

I also had thought about tractor paint. That stuff can be flat or gloss, can usually be painted over somewhat flakey paint (I'd powerwash it first though, just to get all the loose stuff off) then spray it on. Anyone tried that? I mean it is fairly tough stuff from what I remember.

Also, cheapest fiberglass hoods? I need to replace mine and might as well ditch some weight.

Tractor Paint

Hey was scrolling through all the posts and found yours. Funny you would mention tractor paint. In my restoration process I tried using tractor paint on the fiberglass top. It strated out looking real good. However when I sprayed the first coat of clear.. That is when the trouble began, wrinkled bad. I, in my haste did not the coats of paint dry long enough.. That Enamel takes awhile to dry.... If you are trying to get a project done fast, Dont use the tractor paint.... If you do go with the stuff add hardner... That is my two cents... Good luck
