The PO painted the body around 6 years ago and the body paint looks fine. The fiberglass top, on the other hand, is starting to look pretty ratty. Anyone have any good and fairly inexpensive ideas on how to get the top back into shape? FYI, the body is silver and the top grey. Thanks.

Not sure what kind of buget you have in mind but for the $$$$ I would have it lined by Line-X, Rhino, etc. Did the bed over the rail, roll bar, and full top for $1200. Had the line X guys add the Dupont paint to give it a glossy look. Bond really well to the FG and is textured like the original top.

Spend some time with a random orbit sander and smooth it out. Then paint it to match the truck or a nice contrasting color. They look good smooth.:deal:

Sand it smooth and paint the same as the body. You will like it.
Hope you can see in the pics how one looks that way
