painting the Blazer... but what fu&$ing color!?

I really cannot decide on what color I want to paint my Blazer. I never thought I would have this much trouble deciding. The interior is mostly gone and I will be putting seat covers on the seats. So, matching the interior doesnt matter. That leaves me wide open for suggestions. I am hoping with the suggestion... maybe I could get a picture.

The only color I will not do as of now is yellow, because its already another guys color thast I wheel with.

I am planning on one solid color, leaving the hard top black. Black wheels and bumpers.

I am running out of time. I really want to paint it before I take it out for the first play in the mud.

I used Rustoleum "Safety Blue" for a while and I liked it. Flat black is an option, but lots of other guys run it. Olive drab is cool, but again other people use it a lot. I recently painted my rig khaki because I run a lot of mud and the khaki color looks like dried dirt so it won't matter if I just hose my rig off or I do a thorough wash job after I go out and play.. it will always look dirty. /forums/images/graemlins/thumb.gif

Amen on TruckNutz' khaki. I did three color desert camo, and it was a bloody huge amount of work ... in retrospect, just the desert tan/khaki woulda been sweet. The truck stands out, though, I tell ya...

I vote for some variation of military camo /forums/images/graemlins/thumb.gif

I am going to repaint my K5 army green one of these days. Right now its white and you can spot me miles away when I'm out camping /forums/images/graemlins/frown.gif

Desert camo is pretty slick too /forums/images/graemlins/smile.gif

I guess you guys missed that I was looking for one solid color.

No camo... they are everyewhere done by everyone.

I do kind of like the tan/brown color. Thats an idea.

And whats wrong with it being bright and sticking out. As of now... I am thinking of caution orange.

Only think about khaki... its kind of plain. I want to be a little more outrageous. Big and bold statement.

Guy in my club somehow got the nickname of hotpants... and we play tricks on him with all kinds of pink stuff.

Even if that wasnt the case... dont think I could do hot pink. /forums/images/graemlins/blush.gif

But, thats more along the line of thinking... bright, shocking. Or at least just something that will make it stand out in a crowd.

Go Orange.. I would paint my truck that color as well except I still have too much chrome on my truck.

Black everything else would look sweet on orange.

This is my idea too. Just that I really like that Admiral Blue on the Corvette, and now I finally get to paint something.

But, the orange and black combination I think would look real good.
