Hello...my issue is insignificant to the expert advise I see being offered on more technical subjects, but, how/what should I use to repaint my black top? I don't want to remove it right now...maybe in the future. Looking for a quick, easy, recommendation with appropriate paint material. Thanks, Jerry

Depends on how you good you want it to look?

I painted mine with semi gloss spray paint. Turned out good, and has lasted almost 2 years without any touch up.

kinda depends

well now that all kinda depends on how your going to paint it. are you going to rattle can it? or do you have a spray gun to use? ive seen some people put spray on bed liner on their tops, but in my opinion that ads unwanted wieght.

either way you go the basics are the same. spend more time on prep work.

sand, clean, tape, primer, paint. optional clear coat.

hope this helps you.

i did the same, no prep no nothing, jus taped the windows and went at it. came out decent

repainted mine black about a year ago, didnt sand it, but did clean about 3 times with a strong cleaner, then went over it with one of those 3M pads. I used a spray gun with a fiberglass paint and it turned out real nice
