Of course this is most likely not available. I see the maker / inventor of this has not been on CK5 in forever.

I don't want to spend 5k to go to a front coil over set up. I just want to tame my beast with a panhard bar in the front with my cross over steering.

Is there anything out there commercially available or maybe a universal kit some one here has used?

ORD has weld in panhard bars, don’t know if you can buy them separately from their kit, you’d need to call them.

i have one of these orignal kits . been thinking i should make a few .

its one hell of a beefy kit for sure .

got it from a member here who parted a rig .

wasn't TNA making something like this unit ?

TNA makes the engine xmember i have on my 90. It comes with a solid mounting point for a bar. But i haven't seen the other half of the equation. I need the bar and the part in the box you have. That would solve my problem. I don't want to drive it over the mountains to its next bit of work until i have a stable non scary Jimmy with Chalet to drive.

I regret not buying one of those crossmembers (only). My ORD unit is nice but I really like how those wrap up the side of the frame.

Skunked: It has a good case of bump steer when stopping. Before i drive it up over the mountains to Bailey Co. i want it a lil more stable.

I had an ORD unit on the K5 but when we swapped in the LS engine things were tight so i went with the TNA unit.
I have lost a lot over the years and i wish i still had it all.

I still have my crossmember from dcubb, brand new and never installed. Been trying to get the bar and the passenger side plate mount. No luck.

Get a hold of sweetk30 via pm. If i wasn't able to track down TNA he was going to be kind enough to have a set made from his example. Can't thank him enough for the offer!

i need to check in to this more at the local big machine shops. my old school machinest told me for the best bang for the buck at this point cnc would be the ticket .

@rdn2blazer what is your opinion on making these ? i know health is not good these days but any input from you would be super . the main plate starts out from 1.5" thick material .

i am willing to get some and make them up if i have the chance .

I have a few pics saved from way back when Dave fabbed these up. He started out with one design and changed it to the current one. Still a nice and beefy product. I see he's on Facebook but I never attempted to send a message or bother him.

I have more pics but they're on a flashdrive somewhere.

Dave Cubbage is not CFM. I saw CFM is located in Colorado and Dave is in South Carolina I believe.

It won't fix bumpsteer but fixing body roll might make a bigger difference, we have a bar just for that now. We purposely stay away from panhard bars and leaf springs because they force the axle to move side to side a lot more than most think. They get really hard on frame brackets and bushings. it's not a hard and fast rule but lower lift longer travel leaves are where a lot of problems pop up. A 40" bar that moves 10" vertical sweeps side to side about 1.25" and can be worse depending on ride height. Making your leaves match that without binding is a pretty tall order.
