I had BDS 8" front springs. I removed the bottom 2 leaves and got it down to around 5". ORD 1" extended front shackles. Crossover steering. It rides really nice and soaks up bumps great. It tracks straight on the highway but does feel like there's a bit of slop and on uneven paved roads it can feel like the front end is walking around. There's also a bit of body roll but nothing serious. I'm going to brace my steering box because I can see the frame flex a bit there when turning but what I'm really wondering is if I would be better off with a sway bar such as Currie antirock or if a track/panhard bar is more likely to solve my issue. It's almost like death wobble but not felt through the steering at all. It's more like the body hops around up/down and side to side only on uneven/bumpy roads.

Truck is driven 75% paved roads 25% gravel back roads. Little if any actual off-roading.

Also when accelerating and my locker hooks up there's a lot of over or under steer. Front end feels like its trying to go in a different direction.

That issue really came to surface after I swapped in a 6.0/4l80. Feels like truck frame twists right up from the power or something

Just an update if anyone cares. I installed a panhard kit from NWF and it made a world of difference in the way the truck steers, stops, accelerates, and handles bumps/uneven roads. Obviously my axle was moving side to side a lot

I have always preferred Panhard Rod to Sway Bar. The linkage connection is stronger, and less bushing material to wear out than a Sway Bar set up.

I don't notice mine when driving, but if I jump on the brakes it gets me. may look into this.
