Update on the Paragon run….

If anyone has any suggestions or ideas please speak up and let us know.

Thanks,
Joe

******************************************************
The currently available dates as of 1/25/01 for the Paragon trip

May 12,13

June 9,30

July 1,7,8,14,15,28,29

August 4,5,11,12,25,26

September 22,23
*****************************************
We need to determine when we want to go?
Myself, a later date would be better. Give me time to do a few more things to my truck and maybe give the harder trails a try.

One or Two days?
I have to travel 6hrs to get there, so 2 days would be cool with me.

How large of a group?
The more the merrier. If we get a good size group together, maybe we can get some kind of magazine coverage? I know 4Wheel&Off-Road needs at least four months notice to cover a trail ride.

What would the average level of our group?
I’m guessing level 2 or 3

Re: Paragon Fullsize Run

Hey KonaJoe, what's up?

It seems maybe the thing to do is plan a large trip to Paragon in the late July, early August time frame. Two days would be good for that. Maybe more people would come then. A level of 2 or 3 would be great. That would probably be the most fun for all the people involved.

Also, we could plan a smaller, more localized trip (not to leave you out KonaJoe) to satisfy the East PA/NJ people. Maybe Warton would do for that.

Whucha think!!!!

Re: Paragon Fullsize Run

Panther,

That would make sense. Lets to the big run later in the year, make it for two days. How about the September dates? How does "Paragon Fall Fullsize Run" sound? Weather wise the temp would be cooler, the scenery would be better. Wish I was closer, I would do both trips. Lets just separate them, since they have grown into two separate trips now? I just posted the info on both pages(ORC&CK5)so that everyone would have a chance to be aware of what's going on. I also linked the posts to the Paragon BBS.

I posted on the ORC board, but might as well post it here too.

But late Aug or Sept would be better for me. Also, what's this second run you're talking about??? Another one to paragon or what??

Re: Paragon Fullsize Run

Since I live in Fla and it is a long drive to that area, which run would be better to go on, the Rocky Run orv area run that is being planned for Aug. or the Paragon fullsize run that is being talked about here? I'm planning on going on one of them.

Re: Paragon Fullsize Run

You can count me in if: we go on the september dates and we go for 2 days. Then i would definately go. level 2 or 3 is perfect.

Keep the shiny side up, and the greasy side down.

Re: Paragon Fullsize Run

flcpl4fn,

That's up to you man. The Paragon place is probably one of the better 4wheelin place in the East Coast. Lots of fun there. RockyRun is definately not as challenging (in my opinion). But the RockyRun should be fun either way. Paragon is probably an extra 8 to 10 hours further up North from Rocky Run.
I will be attending both. I understand your situation though..you are from FL and that's far either way. I will get to meet you either one you choose.

Trip split

Hey guys. Here's what seems to be happenning.

Paragon trip is happening late summer. We can move to the Paragon board for that planning. That way the people at the park can keep an eye on what's going on.

Wharton trip we can do any time form late March to late May if you guys want to. Why don't we stay on the Blazin trails forum for that planning??

Re: Trip split

Panther,
It appears that most people would like to go on the 22nd & 23rd of September. That will allow them plenty of time to be prepared.

If this date is cool with everyone then please head over to Paragons BBS http://216.156.147.84/cgi-bin/Ultimate.cgi?action=intro&BypassCookie=true and sign up for the ride. I'll get the date booked and make up a list of people that are attending.

Thanks,
KonaJoe

P.S. They are updating the Paragon BBS server, so they might be some intermittent problems.
