Alright, I have a Very Strange Issue,

I have an intermittent issue with the transmission not shifting properly, like it changes when it shifts,a nd refuses to shift in to 4th. This issue has come up when i have used my parking brake. i will set the brake, release it and the truck will not shift properly. i can turn it off and let it sit and then the problem goes away. the other day we moved a refrigerator with the tailgate down, about 45 miles. once we got home, the wife set the parking brake we unloaded the fridge and none of the windows would roll up. turns out the power window fuse melted and fried out. after replacing the fuse windows were fine. next day the parking brake light would not go off, even when un set. the speedometer would not work, and again the transmission would not shift properly.........ANY IDEAS HERE?!?! the link seems to be the Hill brake. Any connection between this stuff? i am at a loss!

Assuming all stock, I would slide under and take a good long look at the e-brake pedal arm and linkage under the dash.
Good possibility a wire is getting chafed when you press the pedal.

If not, then you need to follow the cable down to the rear wheels to see if a wire along there is in the way.

Not knowing what make and year, its hard to be really specific. The really new trucks let the computers do a lot of things, and have lots of inputs to the computer.
Not sure if any of them read the E-brake position though......
