What is a napa number for the seal that goes on the axle shaft? The one at the end of the inner shaft next to the ears? This would be for a d44. Looked at the parts # page but didnt see it.

I assume you're talking about the outer shaft, not the inner shaft. The inner shaft seal is near the splines at the differential. The outer shaft seal is just behind the spindle and there are actually three pieces.

Large spindle or small spindle D44?

No. What year is the truck/axle?

Have no idea the year of the axle. It was scooped up at a yard and it was laying in a pile of other axles. The original somehow split in half when i hit the top of a bump after clearing the other two. Front axle did a huge smile at me. I'll measure the spindle and post up the inches when i wake up. I work nights and it's bed time.

If you were running a 10-bolt before, you can just swap over all your old parts. At least then you'll know what year truck to buy new stuff for.
