... and got some goodies.
factory oil cooler, lines, and adapter, very nice setup
factory PS fluid cooler, mounts up under the radiator support, slick!
engine compartment light w/retractable cord
dome light w/the rotating spotlights
350/TH400/NP241, with issues....
The coolers are going into the Blazer, the lights into my '87 V3500.
Then engine needs to be rebuilt-- BIG coolant leak out of the head that I didn't even know about , in addition to the leaky manifold that I DID know about. Tranny blew on me, which is why I replaced the Burb in the first place. The TBI engine at least is destined for an FJ40, and I haven't decided on the transmission, I may go with a 465/205 instead. We'll see.
I got to push the hulk onto the trailer with my new Burb, a '90 w/a pushbar bumper that looks a lot like a chrome CUCV brushguard, but with bumpers on the verticals.
Went pretty well until the old Burb got far enough up the trailer that the bumper slipped under MY bumper, and I started riding up with it... Had to rearrange a little, but it worked fine. That bumper is pretty handy.
For future reference, even with no drivetrain, you can't push a Burb by the rear doors, they WILL crush in.
