Parting 1968 Chevy Nova

If you can't sell the car whole, either locally or here, I'm interested in the interior pieces if you wouldn't mind. Door panels, (including the interior 1/4 panels), A & B pillar posts, dash pad, etc.

I'm woking on my 72 Ventura II and the parts will interchange.

Just curious, but why not try to fix it up again? Parts aren't that hard to locate and you could get a sub-frame from another Nova or a 67-69 Camaro to fit under the front. It's just a shame to see an X-body meet an end like that.

are the seats buckets ? are they original ? want to sell the seats what about the M22 and the pedal assembly,

I agree even though I could use some of the parts that you should fix it unless the body is bent they make some cool subframe kits out there for them. 68 was a unique year first for alot of things and last for a lot of things.

Unfortunatley the unibody is tweaked. the firewall is pushed back and the roof is buckled up. It would cost more to fix than it is worth for us. But I do think it could be saved if someone has access to a frame rack. If I don't get any bites on the whole car soon I will start selling pieces.

The front seat is a bench though and not salvageable due to our dog hitting the back center. She bent the seat forward in the center and it probably saved her life.

I'm near seattle... about an hour NE on US HWY 2.

No rust in the trunk. Just a small amount in the rear fender wells right now. This car was completely stripped, cleaned, and painted about 15 years ago and at that time it was a Southern California Rust free body. Washington is also pretty easy on old cars unless you let them sit around and mold.

i could use the tailights with buckets, and the quarter marker lights (which ones are left) and the trunk emblem

hate to see that happen, still have my 68 (my first car) and restoring it now. not many left. glad to hear everyone was ok and not hurt too badly.

This weekend I'm going to spend a little time on pulling the tranny, probably start pulling some of the small parts people are asking about if I have time. I'll have to get back to you with a price once I look closer at the condition of the parts to be sure they are worth selling.

Well if you get to parting I need the stuff I mentioned b4 plus
rear quarters from front door back
floors
trunk floor
rear panel
steering column if its a og stick model

maybe I should just buy the whole car :D

If you want sheetmetal you will be better off buying the whole car cause you will get it cheaper than my time to cut it up.

The steering column is a 3 on the tree model... technically a stick, but I don't think the version your after.

I think everybody that owns an X-body needs all of that. :D I often wonder if these cars were made in Switzerland next to the cheese factories.

We pulled the front sheet metal off over the weekend. Right now there is a very minor tweek in the unibody where the firewall is pushed back at the top by about 1/2" on the pass side. Maybe 1/8" on the drivers side. We are going to see if we can save the body and have it pulled back out before we part it out completely.

The transmission is still going to be for sale for $750 obo though to help pay for repair to the body.
