after pulling out a ferd f150 that was stuck bad today, i snapped the frame on my '86 k10:mad: it looks like its going to be too bad to fix, so im most likely to part it out. its got 6.2/700r4/208 all work perfectly. i think the glow plug sensor is bad (think thats what its called). other than that it works great. got a 8' fisher plow with full hydraulics (side to side, up and down) works great. comes with bracket, hydro pump and lines. its also got sliding rear window in perfect condition. ill post up pics of everything tomorrow. let me know what you need. thanks

So are you gonna use the 6.2 or no?

nah, after reassessing everything, realisticly im not going to have time to do the diesel swap. instead im going to just buy a cucv, probably one from 84cucv, and swap all my parts over. i just dont have the confidence in myself to do it, i think the swap would end up being somehting that would never run right and would take me forever to do, i just dont have the time. this would be perfect for a diesel swap tho, the previous owner put in a new tank and fuel lines and sending unit.

appreciate the offer bout the frames, but thats just too much work i dont have time for.

ive got pics, ill post them up shortly. if you need anything let me know

here are some pics. keeping the rims/tires and 10b axles to put under the k5 for now. everything else is pretty much fair game. let me know

im thinkin $300 for both. i never had any problems. tranny shifts real nice, and 4lo works perfectly in the t-case. let me know what you think

no problems with the tranny at all? shifts great and no slipping?

mmmm that 300 sounds a helluva lot better than the quote to rebuild. let me think about it for a day or so and ill get back to ya.

thanks.

alright, theres some interest in the 6.2/700r4/208 on marylandcreeper, if they dont want the complete setup ill let you know. thanks

Hard to see from the pics, but what shape are those lower carpeted door panels in? Still looking for a driver's side battery tray too... Price w/shipping to 95380?
