Parting out 75 K5

I am parting out a 75 K5 so if anybody needs anything, just give me a holler. I pulled the transfer case and tranny out, will be taking the top for a full vert conversion, but other than that, pretty much everything is there. Would like to see the parts from Ol Rusty go to a good home. Not trying to make a fortune here, just trying to recycle the usable parts before it is sent off to the crusher

The body is pretty much ate to crap by rust, hence why it became my "donor." I bought this and originally planned on rebuilding it but based on the advice I received from here, I ended up buying another K5 with less rust and used this as a donor for some other parts. There might be one or two good body pieces worth while, but for the most part, the body sucks. It sat for over 4 years in a field. I am taking off the grille guard to use on my 78 (been sanding it down etc while on the 75) so can get you pics once it is down. Gimme a day or two for a good shot of it. I have to grind down off the bolts to this bass turd because they are froze and I can't get it off the bumper.

I'll post some pics tomorrow of the body. Any certain area you are interested in?

Like I said, the body is in pretty bad shape. Here are a few pics but if you need pics of certain areas, let me know.

First, here is the grill. It is missing the emblem but if you are desperate, I might be able to scrounge the one off my 78 for it. There is one crack in it btw but all the mounting points are still in tact. I took several pics so let me know if you want more (or the fullsize pics for that matter).

i was looking for a pic of the grill trim to be specific, How is the hardware inside the doors?

Is the underhood wiring hacked?

There is a short in the wiring somewhere that I haven't tracked down yet. Basically what happens is the battery drains unless it is disconnected at the terminal. There was minimal "hacking" done from what I can tell but I have found a few shorts where the insulation has worn through in some high contact spots.

As far as the grill trim goes, I will get some pics. IIRC, one of the pieces around the headlight is cracked but most of it appears pretty good. I will check it out once the snow breaks and post some pics for you.

Oh and the hardware inside the doors is working very well. I have not had any issues with them at all. The doors close, lock, open, windows work well, etc. Actually, they work better than the stuff in my 78. Yeah, I got the power window blues in the 78 lol

I sold the latches out of the doors but everything else is still in them. What are looking for?
