Two quick questions. Help appreciated.

A friend of mine got a 1/2 ton 76 parts truck for free and took the parts he needed, now has offered the rest to me. So I need to know .....

1 Will the the front clip (hood, inner and outer fenders) fit the 73 blazer straight across. Also looking at tailgate as I may run a soft top, and mine is jacked. I know there where changes after 75 but not sure if the fenders changed.

2 What transfer case came in a 76 truck and if a 205 is it worth swapping out the 203 in order to have part time 4 rather than full time. I know I need to change the hubs and shafts, but may be putting tons on it anyway.

I don't belive it still has the engine. Any other parts you guys may deem useful would be helpful as either back up or swap out, if they are still on the truck. Not sure what is there, as I have not seen the truck yet, but if I go out to the ranch with a list and tools needed that would help.

All the stuff you mentioned will swap over.
The only difference is the doors and windshield frame

Doors and frame on mine are good just little dents and surface rust. In fact only real rust on mine is typical floor boards and pinhead pits in wheel wells.

At some point though PO crunched one of the fenders and inner fenderwells are showing their age. Best yet I can body work new front separately and swap over without taking old ones off right away. Lucky Montana doesn't salt so most of our rust is typical age only. Salt is just for the eastern end.
