I just got a 84 K5 Silverado Blazer that is lifted 6" with 35" Pro Comp X terrain tires and 3/4 ton axles in it.

Someone transplanted a TBI 350, and a NP 203 T case behind the TH350 in it.

I'm looking for another good running, non oil burning TBI 350 so I can replace the motor that is in it since it's not running in top condition.

I need a K5 Blazer fender emblem with good studs, rear qtr Silverado emblem with good studs, and the chrome plastic caps for the door straps.

Anyone close enough with some parts would be awesome.

Let me know.

Thanks,

Doug

You do know that you can't put a 208 or 241 behind that trans without the correct adapter and also swapping output shafts in the trans right?

What transfer case was in there from the factory? According to the Blazer specs on this site, there were 81- 85 Blazers with TH 350 and 700R4 transmissions in them.

I know about needing a TH 350 to NP 208 adapter, and needing different drivelines. What spline count is a TH 350? This TH 350 must be a later year model, because it has a 2 pin plug on it about in the center of the of trans on the driver's side of the transmission.

All of my TH 350 trans from the mid to late 70's models never had any plugin on the driver's side of the transmission.

Or would it be better to swap in a NP 205 transfer case in behind the TH 350 cost wise?

The TH350's that had 208's behind them used a much longer output shaft than your current TH350/203.

The TH350/208 adapter is much thicker than your current adapter as well.

The plug on the side should be for a lock-up convertor (pretty sure those were only used in cars so it would be a passenger car case and not the thicker K case).

a 205 would bolt directly in place of that 203 with the correct adapter. that might be a better idea if the trans in your truck is in good shape.

The trans seems to be just fine, but I do have a good working spare TH 350 in a 79 Silverado K20 4x4 pickup where the NP 205 is in.

I don't remember without measuring, but is the NP 203 and the NP 205 different in overall length? I want to know if I'll need different drivelines going to the NP 205.

Thanks.

a 205 is alot shorter than a 203. front shaft will have to be shorter, rear longer.
btw a 203/205 doubler is the same length as a 203:D

Well crap....I thought it was a 205 T case in the Camper Special Silverado K20 4x4 pickup on the ranch (it's only missing the motor), but it is a 203 in it too. Damn it anyway.

Also, I need a blue tailgate filler panel for the inside of the tailgate. Someone has a dark brown one on it, and it doesn't fit an 84 tailgate.

If you're talking about the large cover on the inside of the tailgate that covers all the "guts" those are all the same from 73-91.
