I got a spindle with this number in it E36368 HZ59

None of the spindle nuts are fitting that I have ordered..inner with pin or outer

the only nut that fits is a Dorman with this stamped on it 5005301-1 13610090

Wow, thanks! That's exactly what I was looking for but couldn't find.

It looks like, based on that info, my stamping concurs with the book. The nut w/pin should be

Nut w/ pin 2403629 Dana 21588X 2 3/16 O.D.

now I just got to find one or cross check that against what I have

This just doesn't jive...I bought this 28068X kit and it says it has the 21588X nut in it and it doesn't fit

DANA SPICER 28068X

Fits DANA 30, 44 and GM 8.5 inch 10 bolt Corporate front ends.

  • Can be used on Jeep, Chevy, GMC, FORD and International Harvester 4x4 front ends.
  • Includes DANA SPICER 31139 OUTER NUT
  • Includes DANA SPICER 21588X INNER NUT with PIN
  • Includes DANA SPICER 36569 WASHER

I shouldn't have to use a cheater bar just to get this nut started...

The Dorman threads on like butter...what gives?

You might say, "Just use the Dorman"...well I could, but it is the outer nut. I cannot find the Nut w Pin that fits

Nevermind...I finally got it. I decided to apply a lot more force than I wanted to, but it threaded and eventually went on.

The Spicer Nuts fit much tighter than the Dorman. The Dorman went on easy because it's just a little looser than the Spicer's.

The issue on the spindle is the very first set of threads. The are not in bad condition, just a little bit flat. Now that I have the nut threading I think it will be fine.

Blazer74, that pages you posted showing I had correct parts gave me the willingness to force the spindle nut on (knowing it had to fit)
