i was trying to find the sticker that says the color code but i cannot find it where is it located? or can someone tell me me the code for black in 1987 was there more than one?

should be a code in the glovebox door.

the one that is somewhat there seems to be a towing capacity sticker that one of the previous owners apparently did not like what it had to say haha

there should be one inside the glovebox door with all the truck's options on it, Including paint codes.
