parts stores and their 72 older K30 listing

why is it that parts stores list a K30 option in their computers for 72 and older trucks when GM never built any ?

hell none were til 77 even,,

i dont understand ?

Not sure on the part's store thing but the 3/4 ton rear in my 72 burb uses one ton internals.
Makes it a PITA everytime I need something for it...
I either bring in a part number or let the parts guy "roll the dice" to find the right part.

theyre the same thing, just brakes different size

same exact thing with 14 FF axles, difference was brake size


3/4 ton to 1 ton


but im talking about listings at auto parts stores

the 76 older k-30 listing they have..

i dont know why they have it when none existed,

i wonder..
