Parts Trucks, Worth it or no?

Found a truck identical to mine on craigslist... same year, same color, etc. From the one picture posted, looks some-what clean. Not a show truck, but its not held together with zip-ties either.

Requested more pics.....its lifted, has decent tread on the tires. It has no title, which is of no concern to me. Says it runs and drives fine. 1500 obo.

I'm thinking if i could get this truck for 1,000 or less it would be a score, i can figure up just what parts i see that I could use and I get close to that price.

I dont have any experience with this, should i bite the bullet?

I'll run the VIN before I go look at it, obviously if its stolen, it'll be recovered.

What other red flags you have in mind?
