1/2 ton status
my friends and i are building a truck for my friend Ed who just went back to the hospital for the second time for leukemia. he snapped his frame and was planning to do a frame swap with the frame from my diesel project truck. we are trying to get it rolling for him, and have already got some stuff done on it. we are, however, in need of parts.
i am hoping vendors around here see this, we are in need of some stuff from ORD, and probably a couple other popular names around here. we aren't looking for handouts, even a promo discount would be fantastic. Ed's truck fund went straight to hospital bills as far as i know. we just scrapped the frame off his old truck and some misc. blown up transmissions to get some spending cash. we are doing a fundraiser on the 19th.
this is some of the stuff we need:
drop pitman arm
custom 10-12" front springs (not sure yet, we need to finish the back half)
extended brake lines
shackles for diy4x shackle flip
we could use body mounts but can re-use the old ones if need be
14 bolt disc brake kit, calipers, etc
