Looking for a good used passenger drop NP241c that has already had a slip yoke eliminator installed. Somebody out there must have pulled one in order to step up to a bigger 205 , or a 203/205 doubler

The reason everyone, including me, went with SYE in the first place is to put it in the same length category as a 205. We chose 241/SYE over 205 because of weight and low range ability. The drawbacks of course are strength and output ranges, but nobody spent 300+ on SYE to swap it out for something else.

Honestly, I believe you will never find what your looking for.

I am running a Np241d out of a early 90s dodge. They have a factory SYE and are passenger drop. It still has the 6 bolt round pattern, but I think the clocking is different than the chevy's

ive got a mechanical speedo ('89) 241 with the slip yoke still, if your interested

I was pretty certain of that too. Just wanted to get a feeler out, just in case. Not all guys think far enough ahead and sometimes outgrow the chain driven cases at some point. I just happened upon a deal here locally. A guy sold me the JB Conversion parts off the back of a busted case (chain went) for $100. Everything is there and it all looks solid. He claimed the case only had 1,000 miles on it.
