Dumb question: my M1009 had an aftermarket A/C unit installed by a previous owner. The compressor had brackets that went behind the passenger side alternator and one in front of and shared some of the mounting bolts. I removed that A/C and I am currently working on converting it to 12 volt and going to run just the passenger side alternator. I removed the brackets for the A/C compressor and the bolt(s) and the spacer is not correct. Can I just buy a bolt, washers, and a nut and run it through the bracket in the circled area pictured below and tighten it up or should I really find the correct bolt and spacer and actually run it into the block? I just found a picture off the internet, this isnt a picture of mine.

I'm still wanting to swap to a serpentine belt set up sometime but just trying to get it running right now.

Bolts nut and washers are fine.

I was hoping so for now at least. Just didn't know if it would be something like the starter bracket where if you didn't have it on there somehow something would tweak and break something.

If you want factory stuff I know a guy named Mike Morin who does part them out. if you are interested. @cheavyk10 can vouch for the reference. @kennyw might have spacers and bolts that fit also.

I see him post on some of the Fakebook groups. I thought about messaging him too and trying to get the right stuff. I still might.
