G'day guys,

Just a quick one, besides LMC who do you recommend to purchase patch panels from?

I ask because LMC's international shipping charges are absolutely insane.

TIA

Jas

Thanks guys,

Goodmark wont ship international, however Classic Parts say no problemo.

Just waiting now for a quote. :waytogo:

Whatever happend to your resto build? I was following that somewhat closely at the time and then it just kind of faded away?

Hey Rene,

I've been away from the scene for a bit, but back into it now, I'll post up an update soon though not too much has happened with the K5.

Have you tried these guys?

I can't vouch for their panels, but I bought a grill years back, like $20 when GM wanted $100+. A few seconds with a knife and it fit and looked good. Still on the truck, no problems.

I am leery of all but GM body panels, haven't heard of aftermarket yet that fit as needed. Even wrote a letter to Hot Rod magazine about it (one of their articles mentioned how they had to trim the panels) and got published...meaning to me it's a known problem in the industry.

DO NOT USE SORTIFITS,

yes for a wheeler, driver or what not, fine.. but dear god not for some panels you need to be right the 1st time and arrive in good shape and quality

They pretty bad?

We've got (or had) a warehouse nearby so picking stuff up wouldn't be a problem, but never dealt with their patch stuff. I thought some on here actually had good luck with their parts?

Oh well, it doesn't surprise me, I'm sure it's not made with the original GM equipment lol. :)

ive used them more than once, but for what he is doing, the trouble involved and the time/distance....NO WAY
