No idea on CT laws, so you'll have to check with local authorities. But for several years I made a living of cutting/splicing/patching/straightening frames and rebuilding totaled vehicles in AL. All perfectly legal...

Actually, depending on how/where damaged, and what/who you have access to, it might be easier/cheaper to swap frames...

well i neeed to get a spot patched wich is right under my floor...errr where a floor should be, and since i will be replacing my floors ima have that spot patched up
