Pattys 83 K20 6.5 turbo Burb , Daily Driver sled hauler

Aw, so it did have it. I have it in my new (to me) Suburban, and I like it. People always complained it was cold in the back of my other Suburban.

I still have all the stuff , the lines are still there as well I just looped them together . as of yet though the truck stays plenty warm with out it.

And, we are moving back to New Mexico next fall so its a non issue lol

Put some moose detection equipment on today.

:dunno: really? already. find a new toy or something:popcorn:

wish i had the money:eek1:

eh, kind of we just are not using it we have barely put 3 tanks of diesel through it since completed

I ended up with a really nice 2005 excursion with low miles and a bad 6.0 with 9500 I can build a bad ass 6.0 and do lift and tires on it. sad fact is the 6.0 makes more power stock then a maxed out 6.5 can and I have heavy trailer that needs to be pulled all the way to New Mexico.

also with the new cummins and the 97 cummins and no time to work on stuff I'm just burnt out

Id be driving the tires off of it:D I friggin LOVE that burb! Oh well it isnt the first awesome thing I couldnt afford:doah::haha:

Update, my buddy has been using this truck for about 2 years after he went through a very messy divorce and lost virtually everything. He hasn't driven it a whole lot since he pretty much works 300+ days a year in the bush.

He just ordered a brand new Cummins, so I will be getting it back not sure what's in store for it it needs tires badly and has some rust bubbling through in one rocker .

say whaaat?

If he can afford a Cummins he can afford to replace the tires!

I can't ask him to put tires on it , He has put around 12,000 miles on , and has kept the truck perfectly clean and maintained.

With all he has been through he deserves a win , he basically lost a 350,000 house 'pickup, boat, atv, guns, tools, snowmobile, and ended up paying for her lawyer .

Long story short he got reamed and is just barely getting back on track . He "lives" with us when he comes to town every few months . And his plan is to buy some property and build a shop/house inside a big steel building here in the next year or so .

wow...I feel bad for the guy. I gave up my $75k house in my divorce...it wasn't much but it was home for a while.

I would love to hear he won the lotto. Talk about poetic justice!
lawyers bring the big suck....

No lotto , just lots of Hard work and living right. He makes a 6 figures a year so in a few more years he should be debt free with a house and some toys again

So a few changes coming , last night I pulled the lowmax 205 it's pumping oil out the rear output something fierce . I replaced it with a spare 205 I had under the bench . The Lowmax is getting resealed and and put behind my doubler in the new buggy.

But , I picked up a 77.5-79 ford 60 so I may be swapping My NV4500/ford np205 in this truck . I have never liked TH400's horrible power suckers with crappy gearing and no lockup . Adding overdrive to this truck would really be a huge improvement to drivability , and with the low first gear towing will be better .

Probably gonna ditch the 35" BFG's and go to a 37" Toyo MT .

Zero Rate the front axle 1/2" forward and install 1" longer shackles . New 5150 bilsteins
