Dipshit needs a beatdown. Not just for a truck but endangering peoples lives. My wife was ejected from a car as an infant when a drunk driver hit them. She's got a scar on her forehead from it almost 40 years later.

That's insane! I assume there's no permanent damage? She's lucky to be alive. But by that same token, it's also amazing how far safety has come along.

I have a couple of frames and I know where a few more are, but wrong side of the mountain. ...

I HATE drunk drivers...they are the only shit bags I will dial 911 for. They bring out the debil in me... :angry1:

Glad Pops is o.k. :woot:< my not as fat man dance...

Sad the old K5 got hit,its always a bummer to see one in nice shape get totaled.:(..but I'm glad your dad got out without serious injuries.. !.:thumb:

I thank you for everyone's support and those whom have offered up frames have been contacted.

The biggest disappointment over this whole mess is that: I bought the truck in my thumbnail at 14. I've always been a square-body fan and my father just acquired this K5 a year ago. He put an engine in it and rebuilt a few things and enjoyed it has his daily. I'm finishing up my own K5 build and was really hoping my father and I would have the ability to wheel our K5s over the summer (never been offroad with the old man). He's going to give it to me for parts, but I'm really thinking of swapping the frame or building a tube front end (no better time to design my own 3-link). I see a long build thread in this K5's future.

Thanks again for everyone's comments. This is a great community to be part of.

It will be cool if you can salvage something from it. I look forward to that build.

I am surprised the person your dad hit is not seriously injured. I have a crashed square body that looks likes your dads, and the person who hit me is paralyzed from the waist down for life.
