so i'm trying to get "confirmed" or whatever it's called, and it's asking me for my user id, customer access number, and password. what is a customer access number?? all i use to log into my bank is a user i.d. and a password.
Same here. I have never had to jump through hoops like that.Blue85 said:Are you going in the front door www.paypal.com?
I never use more than user id and password. I thought confirmed meant that you had already completed some transactions successfully.

I'd skip that step -- they have an alternate, the thing where they deposit two random small amounts into your account and you tell them how much.

I know, it's supposed to be two random amounts, between .01 and .99. If it was so random, how come it seems to average a grand total around $0.25? Statistically, it ought to average out to $1.00. Stingy bleeping paypal.ssped said:Damn I only got .22 cents.
At least we're on to them, it won't go unnoticed!

I don't get it. If you use PayPal you give them access to make charges to your credit card or bank account. Who cares about the web page?
Are you trying to say they can log into your personal account, check balances, transactions and such?![]()
