in the process of cleaning out the clogged pcv port on my TB, but without having it pulled, its hard to tell what direction the port goes...It seems like it just goes in, then stops, so I`m assuming it either goes down, or splits to the sides...anyone have a clue???guess i`m going to have to put the frigging thing anyways:mad:

It should go in and down to draw vacuum from the intake manifold.

so I`m gonna have to pull it to clean it out, eh?

Unless you want all that gunk to end up in your cylinders.

It goes in and to both side IIRC. I highly doubt it is plugged in the TB anyway. Have you pulled the hose and ran the engine to check for vacuum there?

Well, i got the TB off now, and all i got was a little gunk out of the port, and i`m not even sure what i`m supposed to be "cleaning" underneath it..If its not clogged in the TB, then where would it be clogged?

Not sure i understand what you mean..

ttt, need this done so i can drive it to work today at 4:30 PM :eek1:

Should i just put the TB back on, or is there something I have to clean out?

Try blowing through the port on the TB and seeing where air comes from on the underside.

Well, as you, ryoken, and greg have told me to do that, I went out and did it. My face went red:eek1: . That baby as clogged. Little did i know, when i said it went straight it and stopped, it did stop, but only because of the brick of carbon in there. :eek1: :eek1: Guess who decides to show up, while on his companys time... my friends dad stopped by while I was out there, and gave me a quick hand..turns out it was clogged in the TB, and pretty bad too. Whoever said it goes in and splits to the sides was correct by the way...after taking a guess to where the port went, we stuck the pick in there, and gave a good couple whacks with a small hammer, and sure enough, the pick started moving slowly...sprayed the carb cleaner in there, look like the TB took a little $hit.:eek1: :eek1:

He`s even gonna stop back in a few to see how I`m making out with it, and make sure i get the fuel lines back in right:D (long story)

As soon as i get it back on, I`ll report back

FYI: Yea, I have a laptop out in my driveway:pimp1: :pimp1:
