If you tap into the vacuum hose that goes to the power brake booster,I'd get one of those little charcoal canisters that go in the hose,that GM used factory on 80's vehicles..it absorbs the fumes from the PCV system,and prevents them from rotting the rubber diaphram in the booster,which shortens its life quite a bit...
I prefer to use one of the larger ports in the intake for the PCV valve--it needs a 3/8" hole to get adequate vacuum to work properly and to prevent oil deposits from clogging it rapidly...if it clogs,the PCV wont ventilate the crankcase,and oil will blow out of the seals,dipstick tube,past the rings,etc..
