I have a 79 chevy recently swapped in a 14 bolt and a 10 bolt after installing these axles I have no pedal I have bled the **** out of the brakes they pump up then go to the floor when bleeding like they should then after you let them sit for a couple seconds right back to the floor they go. This only started after changing the brake linesto steel braided and swapping the axles. Is there any chance that the master cylinder took a **** or does this even sound like a master cylinder problem. Also do you have to do anything special to the calipers after you took em off.

i have seen masters go bad when the brakes were bled.the seals ride in a certian area and usualy when they are bled the 1st few pumps the pedal gets pushed to the floor.on older systems the master can develop rust etc in the bore and when the seals are pushed past where they normaly ride they hit the rust/debris and the seal is damaged and you can never get a pedal.if it is a older master that is what could of happened to yours.
