that's the name of the spraycan paint stripper i used on my `peeler' white `87 K5 today,i've used the product for years now and it really saves some time, tape any panel you want to strip off and spray it with this spray bomb of stripper and stand back, open a window
,it curls the paint off the factory primer and you can let dry completly and blow it off with an air hose OR scrape it down with a bondo spreader/blow it off as soon as it `curls'(low air pressure) and then wipe it down with laquer thinner to stifle the chemical reaction of the stripper, certainly you cold water wash the rig or use mineral spirits, and it IS going to leave a whole bunch of`corn flakes' of peeled paint in the area no matter how you do it but when yer done you start sanding a primed truck eleveating any worry about getting a bite on bare metal, mine the bas---! it looks like they hardly sanded it!
wherever they stumbled down the side with a whiskey bottle scraping along the paint stuck
i could see the gold from the Jack Daniels bottle in fact
,how you could paint a rig without sanding new panels i'm clueless
,ah well the biggest concern for me was impact,,if you can put GOOD masking tape on paint and leave it a couple days and pull it off(i mean rip it off) and the paint stays it'll prolly hang but when you can stratch the paint off with a thumbnail=she prolly won't handle a rock impact well and why invest the money on paint and cuss later,,,anyway i stripped the whole truck, there's pulenty of early 90's chevy trucks with peeling paint around my neck of the woods so i thought i'd mention the product=works great!,,,,,,,,,i've found it at Wal-Mart for 5.50 a can or paid 13 at the auto paint jobber but look for a blue/red can/red cap and it's called `peeeler' leaves the primer on,go get em!(and don't forget the respirator and gloves)
