people w/ add-a-leafs in 56 pack

I just got a set of add-a-leafs to put in my 56 pack and I'm not sure I like it. The alignment hole is in the center of the spring and not offset like I imagined it would be for a 3/4 with 56s. I re-referenced the part # and it is a long add-a-leaf for 3/4 tons, but 1/2 tons as well. So I guess you can add it to a 56" pack but it just seems wrong to put this leaf that's centered in the pack when all the other leafs are offset. Anybody else see a problem with it?

I've been running mine like that for 4 years w/no problems.

Really? It just doesn't seem right but if it works fine then I'm gonna stick em in there
