perches

not good to do. ubolts will not sit propporly if thay rest against the perch and not the springs. but if thay dont hit then dont see a problem.

im putting a d60 and hd d70 under my jimmy and i have to move the perches on the d70.i have some 1/4 wall 3" box steel that i can make a set of perches with.i dont want to order a set for it since they would end up being close to 70 with shipping here and i wanted to make them a little longer to help control axle wrap.i will be running 44s with possibly a supercharged small block.

only thing is like ai said ubolts need this ( I I ) 90 degre to every thing. if your perches are to long and wide thay will be ( / \ ) and not stay tight to the axle and springs.

I ordered my perches from summit, I believe moroso made them in the chassis section. They are 2.5 inch wide for 3" tubes. Summit has free shipping I believe to all 50 states. But they have a 10.95 handling fee. Check it out and see if it applies for you too. THe perches are 19.95 in the catalog.
