Anyone else run these? I got soem from rock auto recently. They look like the old pf35. I'm surprised they are well built and made in the US. The filter is improved over the paper element.

I use the PF1218 which is what replaced the PF35L filter by AC Delco.
Well turns out these were not as well built as I tought. At ten bucks each I think I was riped off. I got 4 filters. With two of them I can shake them and here the filter element inside them move around and hit the side of the can. The other two are solid. I don't trust these now. They also are not as long as the old PF35 I just pulled off. The oil on the k5 was last changed in 1998 cuz it has been sitting.

That is crazy. I don't know if I would have the guts to use Tolet paper for the filter element.
