I don't really know much about it, to be honest. I grew up in Northeastern CO, Holyoke. I remember when we had our farm, there were always big city folk coming out to hunt pheasant. Also remember lots of tires hanging on fence posts with lettering spray painted on them that said "NO HUNTING".
Dad (fred2mihi) might have some good suggestions. I remember he used to occasionly go pheasant hunting.
If you want to get into some really good pheasant hunting next year, my family has a farm up in North Dakota on the south east corner. About 600 miles away, pheasants up the ass there. Shoot me a PM if your interested.
Yep lots of pheasant hunting around Phillips and Washington counties. They get a little serious about hunting without permission also.
Also Logan and Sedgwick County. The stretch between Sterling and Julesburg. After Sterling if you get off the interstate and go about 2 miles to the north there is a highway that parallels the interstate all the way to julesburg with a few small towns that you might be able to get some info.
