so over the summer id like to paint my truck (84 k5)

as of rigth now its a baby blue, primer, rust :D

haha.

anywas i was thinkin of a dark metallic blue but keeping the white top...or maybe just a semi gloss black.

me adn my dad would be painting it in the shop. so any pointers would be great!

i know the basic process is to do whatever body work, primer, and or sand, then mask off, and spray thin even coats, then some clear coat if desired.

anything im missing?

big difference between solids and metallics...

:doah: forgot pics of truck:rolleyes:

seriously whatever color yall wanna throw down do it:bow:
i can get different angles if desired.

i dont think mettallic was the termi should have used...im wanting a low buck paintjob i can do at home but will still have a gloss to it. (yeah i know, alot to ask) :D

i was meaning more like a dark midnight blue.

Keep in mind that the darker the color, the more it will show your bodywork imperfections...

And for glossy, you can run the gammit from $30 Rustoleum to $80 catalyzed enamel to a couple hundred for urethane...

i know how to photochop! you should see the detailed ones i did!

anyways, i did yours real quick in a deep blue
