I'm going through the process of preparing my vehicle for smog and collecting all the parts, but the emissions decal is missing and I'm struggling to find a good example online. Can someone out there with a 5.7-liter V8 post a photo of the emissions label? Any ideas where to find a replacement?

Well... There's no such thing as a 1990 K10.
Do you possibly mean a 1990 V-1500 Blazer? (Just judging by your avatar)

I updated the title. Not sure if it had a model name. Definitely not the extended cab version. I'm still learning.

Thanks DB! Do you know the left side info so I can order a new one?

Thanks! I'd still be interested to see an actual sticker

So apparently the tech needs one that is 50-state compliant. The search continues. I looked for a replacement, but the companies that produce them only do so if you have a photo of the sticker you are trying to replace. Good times.

I have a 90 3/4 ton diesel burb...no emissions!
Print that and see how they like it...

My 1991 V3500 Crew Cab has the same 350 TBI your truck has , but mine is Federal and not California. When I did a modification called the "salad bowel" on my TBI I had to cut up an air filter housing, in order to do this. I did not want to cut up my original air filter housing to do this because of the Federal Emission sticker on it. I went to a junk yard, and found a Gen 4 small block 350 TBI truck that is essentially the same air filter housing as square body V/R series truck, and cut that one up for my "salad bowel" modification.

I’ll take a pic of mine in the morning.
I went outside to take the pic and remembered that my truck is in the shop cause it won’t pass smog either lol.
I’ll prob go pick it up Monday and will take the pic.

First time over had to take her to a shop for work so I’m not m used to not having her here.

Thanks. Does yours have the smog pump?

Please no pics!

I don’t believe mine came with a smog pump.
I haven’t forgotten about the picture either. My shop called and said to come pick her up but on the way home she kept dying so I had to have her towed back. First time on a tow truck since 02.

Which companies reproduce these? I would be interested in a reproduction my self. The decal above is the correct one for a blazer or light duty truck in calif.

Thanks a ton. Sorry she’s having fits.

Classic industries in California has a variety of emission labels. I don’t recall if they have one for a 90 5.7 blazer but they do have a variety of years and engine combos.

If you’re in California the emission tester will be most interested in the engine family (very important it is accurate), engine displacement and some sort of statement indicating “this vehicle conforms to US EPA and California regulations applicable to a 1990 light duty truck”. The engine family number/sequence is on the very top left of the emission label.

In fact the details of what is on the label only is an issue if the vehicle is being newly registered in the state of California or a smog station flags the vehicle for emission non-conformance and sends you to a referee station.

For standard and typical smog processes the labeling just needs to be intact and viewed, nothing specific is taken from the label directly. Obviously, I am in California and I am familiar with these requirements but they vary dramatically state by state.

Btw, there is nothing illegal about reproducing a label. It just needs to be accurate to how the manufacture originally configured/stated the vehicle.
