Pimp my grill, lets see your skillz..

What i'm after here is to show what may be possible for a guy/gal to have cut as a grill insert.

1/8 " thick plate steel, with some kind of "In your face" design.

Flames/a nice rack of sharp teeth/tribal flames/skulls...Just something that will not cut air flow
or leave the radiator unprotected.

Basicly it's 9"x35'" opening where working with here, My thoughts for fun whould be some text reverse cut to read...


"Move Over" This should work well on the highway.
"Run U Over" will work well at stop lights/Drive throughs.


This is all in fun, so be nice to my truck...:D

Am i the only one that gets excited when i find a new "cup holder" that was never intended for that purpose?
 
Nope, I have a bit of a liking for cupholders. Especially ones that can hold the big 64oz. Big Gulps...

And, on a random side note, my name is Darren too... trippy.

Yup, I'm not one of those weirdos that spells it with an "i" or one "r" (although I guess it was my parents who made that decision :p:). Small world... :wink1:
 
Ok you Darrens, that's enough hijacking for now :haha: :haha: :haha: , by the time I get my photochop done it'll be 3 pages back and you guys will have already been out wheeling and wrenching together...:rotfl:
 
lol, yah, kinda felt bad about that hijack. So heres my weak photochop.

I wanted a straight across bar from a newer 90's or 00's chevy, but the pic i took from was kind at an angle. You get the idea though.....might be a new cool front side.

Or just add the bowtie like on whatshisface's black crew cab, the newer HD size bowtie.

I'm going to do something with this tonight after work...last night I actually spent more time working on the Blazer than cruising this forum. Can't remember when that happened last...:D
 
He did say he wanted it pimped.... If I had mo skillz I'd made a useful submission but I can't figure out how to paste stuff in and have it look right. Plus I was using paint.net which isn't quite as robust as photoshop.
 
Not so much bling this time around.

I do plan to paint this on my front diff cover when I get around to rebuilding my 60. :D
