It's a Load Trail Brand Trailer.
They list it as 10400lb GVWR
It weighs in at 2684lbs

18' Deck with 2' Dovetail
83" between fenders
Uses 6" channel frame.
6" channel tongue.
2 5400lbs braking axles
10K jack
Adjustable 2 5/16 bulldog coupler
slide in ramps
4 D-rings
stake pockets
breakaway kit and all that for $2395.

I bought it from Diamond V Trailer Sales, Inc., in North Carolina.
I dealt with Ricky (the owner).
If anyone on the east coast is looking for a trailer, they will treat you right for a good price.
Only thing was, I ordered mine in black, and the factory messed up and painted it red /forums/images/graemlins/crazy.gif
Oh well, no biggie.

Here are some crappy pics I took in the rain.

So how does that red X pull? /forums/images/graemlins/laugh.gif
Good looking trailer (cut and pasted properties into browser.

Load the pictures to your free CK5 photo album and you can link from there. I have as yet to see that not work.

When you coming down?

Nice trailer, pretty much the same specs as mine, except I got a diamond plate deck.

Had to put on my shades for the Red paint. /forums/images/graemlins/cool.gif /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif

Ditto above=forbidden pics!
Where did you get the info on the weight of the trailer? I looked at one locally and when I asked that question the guy kind of hesitated and then said "oh around 1300 pounds"; seemed to me like he pulled that out of his nether regions.
I sent an e-mail to Load Trail asking about the weight but never got a reply. They are good looking rigs and the local price was a little over $1,900 as I recall which is not too bad.

73k10,

I got all that info off of the Title.

1300lbs is kinda light for a trailer of the same description...There are some clowns out there I tell yah! /forums/images/graemlins/rolleyes.gif

Anyhow, Load Trail uses 6" channel frame & Tongue, where I've seen most other trailers of this size uses 5" channel...
They are very well built trailers. I'm definately happy with the deal I got.
If you can get the same trailer for $1900, definately jump on it...dang, that is a steal!! /forums/images/graemlins/bow.gif

That sure looks like the same rig I looked at. What size is the tire/wheel combo? The one at the local dealer had 6 hole, 15" wheels and the tires were Chinese and seem like 225/75 bias.
What are you towing with? The trailer and a 5,900 lb. rig is going to be plus 8,500 lbs. before you start throwing in spare parts, camping gear, chains, etc., etc.
My pickup is a '98 C2500, ext. cab, long bed, 5.7l, auto, 3:73 gears and the book has it capable of towing 7,000 lbs. and I'm wondering if this trailer plus my M1008 and gear is going to be too much.

I'll have to check on the tire/wheel when I get home. I can't remember exactly what it is...But I know the tires are Load D range tires and max rating is like 2548lb per tire or something...can't remember, but I'll let you know. Wheels maybe 16"??
Like I said, if it's the same, then $1900 is a good deal.

I'm towing with a Dodge Ram 3500 Cummins 6speed, so I shouldn't have anything to worry about /forums/images/graemlins/thumb.gif

I would imagine your 3/4ton could tow more than 7K?? Might be a slow trip with the 5.7L, but I bet your drivetrain could handle it, no??
