i would like to see some pictures of trucks or k5s with 15x14 wheels, either 2.75 or 4.25 backspacing. i want to see how far they hang out past the fenders:D

not 15x14's, but 15x12's on 44x18.5 TSL's. Wheels have about 4" backspacing..

are you sure thats 4" backspacing? did you have to grind the front calipers on the 60 at all to clear the wheels?

15x12's with weld on beadlocks, so I would guess 15x13 or so. 40" boggers, 4.25" of backspacing, lots of grinding required.

wow, i ordered 15x14 wheels with 2.75" bs. the guy told me that you dont have to grind anything for them to fit so i was like "hot damn, gimme them!". but now i realize they are going to hang out sooo far... oh well

And they are going to play hell with your front bearings and wheel studs....

It's a leverage thing.....

If you want to pick up a set of 4.25's, the grinding really isn't that bad. The first side took me 2-3 hours, the second side took me 30-45 minutes. On the first side everyone does the "peck at it and see if it clears" thing (which is what I did), the second side you have a good idea of what needs to be done and can just go to town on it.

doesnt anyone run into problems with tires rubbing the frame or front springs with that much backspacing? also what about the tie rods..? they have to be real close to the wheel

thats about the same time process it took for me too, and blue beast, for the frame rubbing question, i havent noticed it, yet, but i haven't been offroad with it either.. but some people hit the steering box w/ there tires, so that is something to take into consideration. Also my tie-rods aren't even close to the wheels. People usually run into tie-rod problems when running srw hubs and H1 double beadlocks..

I pic requested 2.75" backspacing on here a while ago.

At first i thought it'd be cool for the tires to stick out more

until i saw HOW MUCH 2.75" backspacing sticks out, it's ridiculous, ugly, wears on your parts and just asking for tickets. IMHO lol

i run 2.5's with 15x10 and 44...3/4 tire is out off wheelwell, its apart right now or i'd get a pic..law don't mess w/me...and oncoming traffic acts like they run up on a big rig...well, i guess..literally it is a big rig =)

well i first wanted 4.25" bs but when i called to order them, they only had 2.75 in stock. they said it would take 4-6 weeks to make the 4.25" bs wheels and then another week on top of that to ship them... im going to see how they are when they get here (supposed to be here tomarrow) and maybe ill send them back and just wait for the 4.25 ones...
