Just want to get an idea. I am thinking about swapping the 37's onto the crew cab just for fun. I need to grind the 60 for them anyway since it is going under the K5:wink1: I don't want to trim the pickup fenders. It has already been clearanced a little (that lip on the bottom is folded inside the fender, but you can't see that part. I know they may rub a little, but let me know how much. This truck won't be wheeled at all just driven back and forth to work. Let's see them:D

Take a look at my crew cab in the ck5 galley, I've got 6" Rough Country w/ 35 BFG's on 12" wide Welds and no trimming at all. Mine will rub a little in a turn if I hit a bump/curb.

Next time I intend to go with a wider 36 but I'm afraid that'll force me to use a 1" body lift.

Yes I know of your truck:wink1: It's what started my V3500 fascination:D Those are on 12" wide welds huh. So a 37 on 10 inch wide with 4.25 bs should be close, but guess there is only one way to find out.:D

4" and 37s only trimming is the front fangs and rear lower quarters. I know its not 6 but it will give you another look. They are cut to the firewall now.

Cool thanks for all the replys. Jpeater how bad do those rub during normal driving? is your axle moved forward?

6" TCI springs 37x12.50-16 SSR on 16x10 EA589 w/ 4.5"bs

it would rub when i would drive over a curb. it did not rub on the street though.

did u get much rubbing with that setup?
ive thought about running 38's w/ my 4 in lift and thought id have to trim the fenders like 2 in all around then do like u did n chop the panel below the trim on my 76

It did not rub unless I hit a curb or a large bump and then it hit hard. There was no such thing as a lite rub:D . This thread has pictures of what it looks like now.

Only time i hit onroad was jumping a curb passing a drunk driver. I have now cut the front fangs, a little bit out of the rear fenders, and started cutting the back of the front fenders. Waiting to get the rear shaft back in so i can flex it out good and make the final cuts.
