Alright everyone...the time has come for my 72 K-5 to get a little manacure...or full body job and paint, haha. So I was wondering what color to paint it. I have it white right now and, while there are some white blazers on here that are really good looking, I'm personally getting a little tired of the white. So give me your ideas and I'll let you know what color it turns out to be. (by the way... it has a fully convertable top with green interior)

I don't know if it would go with the interior, but i always thought Hugger Orange Looked real good on a 72, white top, ya, i almost bought a Hugger Orange 72 but it needed to much work.

i have a 74 that is white and am getting ready to paint and overhaul the body too. i think i have decided on bright yellow with black accessories and grey interior if i can find it. right now it has the tan interior, ugly. i also thought about general lee orange (like the full size in that movie animal, sweet!)
who knows so much to do i cant get started

I'd say a single-color, and maybe an original factory color from around 1972 would be cool. A buddy of mine has a 70-1/2 Camaro Z28 with that cool "Citrus Green" paint color. I was considering that for mine.

For some reason, an old truck painted in an "old, classic" color just seems extra cool to me......

I just looked at a 1969 that had the factory orange and it looked great. I would stick with factory offered colors for the year. I think the modern colors on the older vehicles look kind of weird in the wannabe kind of way. JMHO.

Maybe the bunnies can have fangs and little sharp claws so they are more manly?

Personally if I had a first gen, it'd be a dark metalic blue.... black is nice but requires too much work (and $$) as far as prepping it.......
