My buddy who works with welders and knows all about them says the weld pak is garbage. For what you want to do, a sp-150 is probablly all you need.

I have the 3200HD, also got it from Home Depot and it was from my parents for my Birthday /forums/images/graemlins/rotfl.gif /forums/images/graemlins/thumb.gif

I like it a lot, as a hobby welder I have used it for a lot of things and any of the Mig 220 welders are gonna be a lot more money. I think it is a good starter welder and I have made things such as bumpers for my truck to a roll cage out of 3/16 round stock for my T-Maxx /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif
