Guy I know has a K3500 dually with a blown 6.5l. Motor had a lot of goodies and the block is now seized. About all I know for sure.

I think I can pick it up cheap.

I have a 454 that I could put in it after a little freshening up. Or would it be cost effective to find a crate 6.5l and turn down the fuel some and just stick diesel.

How much and where to get a crate 6.5l?

Oh, and the M1008 would HAVE to go first.

If you don't tow all that often, and the 3500 is just a reg cab, the "cool factor" of your Blazer is worth the trade off, IMHO.

The M1008 that I would sell off is the pickup CUCV. Its a srw 1-ton K30.

This is for my tow rig. Right now the M1008 will take the duty. The 4dr long bed dually I am thinking of getting would be so nice to tow with.

I still have my M1009 (Blazer CUCV) for daily driving duties. And I also have my 'toy' K5 for wheeling. Which is what I will be towing to the wheeling spots.

Hmmmm. Dana 60. IFS....see what we got here, candidate for a SAS!!

A dually with a 60 up front and alittle lift would be nice!!

Ah, whoops! I didn't catch the "8"

I still personally like the older trucks though. But, crew cabs are nice too.

$3000 obo.

Wow, with a blown motor? Hopefully the rest is t*ts up perfect. There's a 94 Crewcab dually 454/5speed/4x4 here in town for $5200. Power everything and with only 125k miles. Has a campter top to it as well.
