Well instead of putting the 92 6.5TD/4l80e into my 78 Sub, we decided to just buy a 99 Suburban LS 6.5TD K2500/4l80e 3.73 gears. Very nice ride. I'm planning on keeping this one for a while. Fill up on the way home $97.50 - 39.5 gallons.
Plans for the 99 - fluid changes, guages - boost,EGT and trany temp, new Kennedy fan clutch and maybe a duramax fan, oil bypass filter, pre lift pump fuel filter, new intake filter/snorkle, 3.5 - 4 inch exhaust, remote mount FSD, chip/boost controller, lastly maybe an Intercooler.
So my other diesel projects are now - 1. put the 92 6.5TD/4l80e into the 77 Sub, 2. Put my Banks TC on my 86 K30 and, 3. put a GM3 turbo on my M1009 off road project.
