Its a '79, 350/350/203/12b/10b. As original as possible for a 32 year old truck! ZERO rust. 107k miles, Hardly a ding in the body, Has the original window sticker, bought from the original owners daughter. She told me about remembering the day he brought it home from the dealer! Seems pretty optioned out with electric door locks and windows, A/C(all intact), oil cooler, cruise, tilt and all that. The couple i bought it from had "givin" it to their kid but he didn't seem to like it so they sold it to buy him a honda... But they put a nice stereo in it mounted in the console and left the original one in the dash. To say im lovin it is an understatement for sure! It drives fantastic and runs perfect. ITs so quite!

PICS!

EDIT: comp is being gay. I will do my best on pics.

Indeed the plans are to restore it. Im heavily fighting the temptation of putting a 2.5"lift on it...

Dont worry fellas, My comp is being gay and those were cell phone pics, but i assure you, this WILL be a pic whore thread!

Awesome! I would resist that urge, it sits very nicely for a stock rig. I love the seats!

You guys are going to hate me, Im going to look at a all original one owner 140k mile 79 suburban 350/465/205 half ton tomorrow the dude only wants a grand for! We'll see.

Well, I noticed two things so far. You have the nifty auxiliary battery tray, and I think the dash pad has been replaced. You have the cool two-tone interior (red/white), I think the pad should be red too.

You need the Burb too! It will complete your "clean rig" collection:D

Yea its one of those not so awesome dash caps... Its covering up the original that he says was cracked. Bummer. And yes it does have the aux. bat. tray. Neat but i dont know why it was done away with or why it had one any way.

Probably ordered with it... still have the tag in the glove box? It was probably considered too expensive to replace 2 batteries somewhere along the line.
