got tired of straping / 3-4 guys / forklift scuff - scrape just to get the beds on / off trucks at work or my own stuff.

so I whipped up a lift fixture

2x2 1/8th wall and 1.5x1.5 1/8th wall square tube . few chunks of 1x2 s.s tube for end tabs . then 3 bolts with tabs welded to them . next 3 nuts to weld to tubes to lock in adjustments.

now set this on forklift and adjust and lift super easy .

you can buy them . but from what I have been told there cheep and flimsy .

and I can say 100% I made that :thumb:

next few days will have pic's of it in use . got 2 beds to reset on trucks. and 3rd on trailer made from truck .

Sh!t, that's fancier than mine. I've got 2 2x12's screwed together with a big eye bolt in the middle.

Me too! But mine is just one. I've had to use it two times for pulling beds and it works like a champ. Sucker flexes so far I think it's going to snap but it never does. :D

I glanced at the title and pictured doing a box swap on one of our 400 ton haul trucks. we do them all the time, use two 40 ton overhead cranes similtaniously though. I laughed a little to myself. picturing a pickup truck in the bay.
