I'm thinking about sideboards for the bed of my M1008 CUCV (longbed pickup). Can anyone give me the basics on how to build a set? It looks like you'd need 2x2" wood for the three posts, and maybe 1x4's for the sides, like 3 high? I'm not real sure what keeps the sideboards up, since the pictures I've seen don't look like the bottom 1x4 (or whatever) is resting on the rail. It must be attached underneath or something?
