Pickup Truck Tailgate on Blazer. (what years...)

I have a '73 K5. What years pickup tailgates will fit on my truck. Is it just 73-80? or will 73-87 fit? I dont want to get the thing home from the junk yard to find out that it doesn't fit...

i dont think there is much of a difference if any. ive got a 79 blazer and i snagged mine off of a 83 2wd c30. i didn't even bother trying to determine the year before taking it home and throwin it on.

73-87 (or up to a 91 cc) should fit fine.
