Pics from the dunes...

We just got back from spending the weekend @ Oceano Dunes... I went by and caught up with Chris and his dad (username Chevyin) and on Saturday afternoon I met up with JDNobodi and some of his family to play around in the sand for a while...

Everything went smooth except for a blow-out on the trailer while we were going over Thursday night...

We were playing around so much we didn't get as many pics as I should have but we managed to snap a few...

I found these on the camera too... my dad made two short movie clips while I was messing around on the side of a dune...

you need to make some drive over fenders so you can quit changing out your front wheels.

wish i had a cali truck, it'd be nice not to have rust.

No kidding... I'm tired of changing the front wheels/tires out in parking lots every time I want to go somewhere...
It's not my trailer... if it was I'd make them removable or reinforce them so I could drive over them...

It's just where I was playing around in those pics... it was actually really busy this weekend...
Yeah we ditched the claws in favor of the 35's to see how they'd perform... it was definately the right move because the 35's were a heck of a lot better than the claws were last trip.

Nothin' too interesting... I saw Steve's big yellow tow rigs running like mad but nothing out of the ordinary. It seemed like a safe weekend overall.

Gald you made it back okay. I wish I 4wd, but I had fun anyway.

Heck man even without 4wd you held your own...
Hopefully next time we come you'll have it fixed and ready to go.

The truck in the first picture was FAST for being a mud truck... I'm not sure what kind of power he has but it was enough to turn those boggers into paddles...
